Press Release: CDMCS Members Support Post-Hurricane Relief

As our nation begins to assess the damage from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the Council for Dredging and Marine Construction Safety (CDMCS) and its 24 member companies are actively supporting recovery efforts to begin evaluating and rebuilding the coastal infrastructure along the Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard. To all who have been affected by these storms, we send our thoughts and prayers on behalf of the entire CDMCS family.

Over the coming weeks, CDMCS will be working closely with industry partners, including the Dredging Contractors of America and the Association of General Contractors, to bring all of its resources and expertise to the dredging and marine construction industry, assisting in the safe rehabilitation of the communities in need.

CDMCS recommends corporate and individual disaster relief donations be made through the following channels:

Hurricane Harvey (Houston)

  • The Greater Houston Community Foundation – a 501(c)(3) public charity
